Brand guidelines

How to use the Vikolo name, logo, colours and type. Please keep the logo exactly as supplied.

Logo

The wordmark is our primary logo: vikolo in lowercase, with a blue dot carried by the forward arm of the v. Use it wherever there is room.

Clear space

Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the letter o on every side. Nothing else (text, edges or images) should enter it.

The dot

The v's forward arm is shortened so the dot sits on its line, with the top of the dot level with the top of the left arm. The dot is always Vikolo Blue, or matches the letters in single-colour versions.

Minimum size

Wordmark: 18 px tall on screen, 6 mm in print. Below that, use the mark (minimum 16 px).

Mark

The v and its dot, on their own. For app icons, favicons, avatars and anywhere the wordmark would be too small. Don't place the mark next to the wordmark; use one or the other.

Colour

A quiet, mostly monochrome palette. Vikolo Blue is reserved for the dot and small accents, never large areas.

Hanken Grotesk, free on Google Fonts. Light for headlines, Regular for text. SemiBold is used only in the logo.

Name

In text, write Vikolo with a capital V. The logo is always lowercase.
